The Warriors won’t be able to make any major free agency splash this offseason, but they don’t need to with their core still in tact assuming Green re-signs or opts into his option. The season just finished for eight first-round playoff losers, and with it comes a look towards free agency for some players that the Golden State Warriors could target. Aside from that, Golden State have a number of holes they’ll look to fill with limited financial capacity. Putting aside Myers’ own contract negotiations, the Warriors have some major decisions to make starting with free agent forward Draymond Green. Now facing a 3-1 deficit against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors are barely breathing in their hunt for back-to-back NBA championships, Yet while their season remains ever so slightly alive, there’s no doubt that for general manager Bob Myers, one eye will already be turned towards what’s bound to be a critical offseason.
